  This article is inspired by a YouTube post by the great rock and prog content creator Andy Edwards ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmdEZcLDQnQ&t=1923s ). There is a strange phenomena in the world of rock and roll. Rock is a quintessentially American music form, yet if were asked to name a top 10 of all time rock bands, 8 of them are probably British. Why is this? I think it has to do with Elvis. Elvis, the first rock star, was a solo artist and celebrity even though his early band was highly influential. This kind of set the tone for the future. To me, Bob Dylan is right up there with the Beatles in his importance to rock, but he was a solo artist. As was Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Ray Vaughn or any number of artists that were actually bands. They all had long term bands they played with that even had names (Experience, E-Street Band, Double Trouble) but they are considered solo artists. Sunny in the high 60’s in Raleigh, so it is grill time! This recipe has several variations out there, but I will give you my version using a Weber grill. How is it possible to be so incredibly unsuccessful at online dating when you are a reasonably good looking professional who is neat and has all of their teeth? Shall I list the reasons? Women want to know the reason you caused the divorce — There is this strange phenomena when dating someone you met online where they absolutely grill you about the reasons for your divorce in minute detail. Yet they somehow never mention theirs. I found one lady had been married 5 times! Another had two husbands leave due to infidelity! Yet both those things were mentioned only as an aside. The absolute irony is that 70% of divorces are initiated by the woman. And that is not just in their relationships with men. Lesbian couples have a far higher divorce rate than gay men.   I want to use this page as a running blog about how to cook and eat healthy even if your circumstances are not ideal. I was recently divorced after 31 years of marriage due to circumstances that had much to do with undiagnosed ADHD and my inability to deal with past trauma. In my marriage, my wife was a fabulous cook, so I mostly did dishes and grilled occasionally. When tasked with providing a full meal it was always a frantic experience. Of course the home we shared had a full kitchen with all of the modern kitchen conveniences. Post divorce I lived for a while with an acquaintance who was so poor at kitchen hygine that I cooked outdoors with a grill and camp-stove almost exclusively. That set up was not the best for generating regular meals so I ate out of the microwave quite frequently. Next, I lived for a short while in a trailer that had a nice stove and oven.
